West Surrey Racing The Team
The West Surrey Racing team (WSR) was founded in 1981 by Team Principal Dick Bennetts and since then has built an enviable reputation within motorsport through its history of success. WSR spent over 10 years racing in F3 and won over 70 races with motorsport stars including Ayrton Senna, Mika Hakkinen, Jonathan Palmer and Rubens Barrichello.
In 1996 WSR moved into the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) running the works Ford team. The team went on to run the works Honda Accord in 1999 and 2000, before designing, building and racing the MG ZS from 2001 to 2003.
Over the last decade WSR have secured numerous BTCC honours, winning the Independents title four times and the overall BTCC title in 2009 with Colin Turkington in a BMW 320si.
2013 sees the team become eBay Motors with Co0lin Turkington, Rob Collard and Nick Foster driving the NGTC specification BMW 125i cars.
